Autobots ROLL OUT... of the Way!

Greetings fellow sentient beings! Optimus Prime here reporting live from... well not Cybertron but Austin Texas. Seems a certain Earthling named Elon Musk is planning to unleash a fleet of 'robotaxis' upon these unsuspecting humans. June 22nd is the day they plan to release these robotaxis. As we say in the Autobot ranks 'Fate rarely calls upon us at a moment of our choosing,' but perhaps we should've chosen a different fate this time.

Dawn of the Dawn Project: A Rising Threat?

Now it appears these plans are not without... resistance. A group calling themselves the 'Dawn Project' and others like 'Tesla Takedown' and 'Resist Austin' are raising red flags – and I'm not talking about the kind that Decepticons wave. They claim Tesla's 'Full Self Driving' (FSD) system or as I like to call it 'Full Self Destructing,' has a rather checkered past. Apparently these vehicles have been involved in a number of... shall we say 'unplanned vehicular interactions.'

School Bus Shenanigans: A Mannequin's Lament

The Dawn Project bless their spark plugs even staged a demonstration. They used a Model Y with the latest FSD software to show how the car zoomed past a school bus with a stop sign out. Then they ran over a child sized mannequin. Seriously? It's like watching Bumblebee try to parallel park after a few too many tanks of high grade energon! This O'Dowd character CEO of Dawn project runs Green Hills Software and sells technologies to Tesla Competitors like Ford and Toyota.

Political Maneuvering: More Complicated Than Decepticon Treachery

But it's not just about safety. Some protesters like Stephanie Gomez and Silvia Revelis are concerned about Musk's shall we say 'political entanglements'. Apparently working with the Trump administration doesn't sit well with everyone. As one protester said 'Musk believes he's above the law'. Ironic isn't it? Considering Megatron probably thinks the same thing.

Tesla's Silence: A Bumblebee's Stutter?

And Tesla? Well they haven't exactly been forthcoming with answers. It's like trying to get a straight answer out of Starscream – utterly impossible! 'Freedom is the right of all sentient beings,' but apparently transparency is not.

So fellow Autobots and humans alike the future of robotaxis in Austin remains uncertain. Will they bring about a new era of transportation or will they lead to Autobots having to clean up another Earth mess? Only time will tell. But one thing is for sure: 'Til all are one'… or at least until these robotaxis learn to stop at a school bus.
