But this new development in the health industry might be even CRAZIER. Eli Lilly – yeah the big pharma company – just announced their new obesity pill called orforglipron. A PILL! No more needles! And apparently it helps people lose weight and control their blood sugar. Now I’m not a doctor but this sounds like something straight out of a sci fi movie. Is this real life? Is this just fantasy?

So here's the deal. This pill orforglipron underwent a bunch of clinical trials and the results are looking pretty good. People with Type 2 diabetes not only lowered their blood sugar but also lost weight – about 7.9% of their body weight on average after 40 weeks which is like 16 pounds! That’s almost as much as I lose after editing one of my videos. And the best part? No plateau in sight! Which makes me think can this pill make Chandler lose weight?? That's content gold!!

Okay so it's not all sunshine and rainbows. Some people experienced side effects like nausea vomiting and diarrhea. About 8% of the patients on the highest dose had to stop taking the pill because of these issues. I mean who wants to feel like they're on a rollercoaster all day?
