A Queen's Decree: Bitcoin's Unburnt Resilience

Hark loyal subjects! Your Queen Daenerys Targaryen First of Her Name Protector of the Realm and breaker of chains brings tidings of the realm of digital coin! I have seen empires rise and fall dragons soar and plummet but even I am impressed by this 'Bitcoin'. It has faced fire and ice whispers of doubt and storms of volatility yet it stands defiant much like myself after a Dothraki wedding. This Bitcoin unlike some of my ill fated advisors has managed to hold above $100,000 for a moon's cycle a feat never before seen. Is this magic? Perhaps. But it's likely just very clever accounting and far better PR than anything Varys ever cooked up.

V Shaped Victory: From Ashes to Astounding Heights

The charts those cryptic runes of the modern age tell a tale of a 'V shaped recovery'. A plunge a flicker of despair and then... a triumphant ascent! It seems this Bitcoin mirrors my own journey eh? From being sold for a horse to conquering cities and now... commenting on Bitcoin. The early gains were wiped out? Bah! A minor setback. Much like that time I had to eat a stallion's heart. Remember that? But a sharp turn brought it back to the all time high where it sits basking in the glory. Let us hope its 'volatility' is not as unpredictable as the mood swings of a dragon after a long flight.

Institutional Dragons Hoarding Digital Gold

The wise men and women of finance those 'financial advisors' and 'institutional investors' are starting to warm to this digital trinket. They are dare I say becoming like dragons hoarding gold – but this time it's digital gold! This is not some fleeting fancy or a passing craze fueled by fear uncertainty and doubt! No this is a carefully considered alliance between ancient wealth and a modern marvel. The ETF inflows are… remarkable to say the least. Even I who command dragons can appreciate such numbers. It seems everyone wants a piece of this new pie in the sky and I can't say I blame them. It is a bit like owning a dragon egg a gamble that could either hatch into untold riches or simply burn your fingers.

iShares' Realm: A New Kingdom of Coin

This 'iShares Bitcoin Trust' seems to be the unsullied of the Bitcoin world. Pure disciplined and consistently accumulating value. The numbers are staggering. Six billion in a month? Seventeen months and already at $72 billion? It is as if a new kingdom has been built upon the foundations of digital ledger. This is no small feat. Even my ascent to power wasn’t this quick. And it involved dragons and fire and a very attractive Dothraki warlord. What’s their secret weapon? It seems that this Bitcoin has made a case for itself as an asset with lower correlation to other assets. In other words it dances to its own tune just like me!

The Three Stages: From Launch to Leap of Faith

Jay Jacobs a name I assume is less troublesome than Jorah Mormont speaks of three stages: product launch education and 'people taking the leap to allocate'. It appears we are deep within stages two and three. Institutions and advisors are making allocations. This is not mere speculation; this is strategic implementation. It's like planning a war campaign. First you gather your armies then you educate them then you unleash them upon your enemies. It seems that even BlackRock has begun to incorporate this Bitcoin as part of alternative investment models. So I am not the only one who understand the winds of changes. Perhaps it is time for this Queen to consider adding some Bitcoin to her coffers.

Ethereum Rises: A Budding Rival?

And now whispers of 'Ethereum'. A potential rival perhaps? The 'iShares Ethereum Trust' is gaining traction with close to $1.5 billion this year. However let us not get ahead of ourselves. Bitcoin remains the vast majority of the conversation the undisputed king of this digital realm. But Ethereum is picking up steam. It may be viewed more as a 'tech play' than digital gold. Only time will tell if Ethereum can truly challenge Bitcoin's throne. Though I have to say I admire their ambition. The game is always afoot and one must watch its flanks. But if history is to be an indication this is not the last 'crypto' contender to emerge and stake claim.
