A Purr fect Plan Takes Flight
Hola mis amigos! Puss in Boots here reporting live from my… uh… well wherever the wind takes me. Today's tale involves the grand United Airlines a fleet of metal birds soaring across the skies like so many… well like so many very large metallic birds! They're adding daily flights to Vietnam and Thailand come October which sounds like a fiesta waiting to happen! I hear the street food is to die for almost as good as Abuela's flan. *Almost.*
Piggyback to Paradise!
Now here's the clever part. These flights aren't just appearing out of thin air like my legendary charm. No no. They're playing a bit of a… shall we say 'route rolette'. Planes heading from Los Angeles and San Francisco to Hong Kong will then extend their journey to Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City. A 'two birds one stone' strategy! Though personally I prefer to only target one bird at a time preferably a delicious canary.
More Flights Than My Nine Lives!
But wait there's more! On October 25th a second daily flight from San Francisco to Manila will grace the skies. And on December 11th Adelaide Australia will receive flights three times a week. I must say even I'm impressed. It's like they're trying to outdo my own adventurous spirit! I have been known to travel far and wide myself though usually on foot... or by clinging precariously to a runaway carriage.
Daring Destinations and Loyalty's Lure
United is fearlessly venturing where others dare not tread! Like Nuuk Greenland and Bilbao Spain. Destinations so exotic they sound like something out of one of my daring adventures. 'The Caves of Bilbao!' 'The Ice Fields of Nuuk!' The key is to charm the loyalty programs my friends. Give the people treasures (attractive destinations) for their gold (loyalty) and they will keep spending like they are funding my leche habit.
White Lotus Effect?
Ah but the best part? The reason for the Bangkok flights! Seems a little show called 'White Lotus' has everyone clamoring for a Thai vacation. As Patrick Quayle the big boss of United's network says Bangkok is *in*! Who knew television could inspire such wanderlust? Perhaps they'll film an episode in San Lorenzo and I can make a cameo. 'Puss in Boots: Hotel Inspector'... has a nice ring no?
No Cuts Only Struts
And fear not fellow travelers! United assures us they're not planning on cancelling any international routes. So keep your whiskers twitching and your swords sharpened. There's a whole world out there to explore! Now if you'll excuse me I hear there's a bowl of cream with my name on it... and maybe a flight to Bangkok. Adios!
