Alright Beast Fam! Jimmy here and HOLY MOLY! I just saw that Bumble you know the dating app where the women make the first move is laying off 30% of their workforce! That's like 240 people! That's a LOT of swiping left on careers! They're saying it's gonna cost them $13 to $18 million in charges this year but hey they're hoping to save $40 million a year after that. Sounds like a MrBeast challenge waiting to happen...like who can save the MOST money in a year?! The prize? A lifetime supply of chocolate!

Bumble's saying it's all about "optimizing execution on its strategic priorities". Translation: They're trying to stay afloat! Honestly their market value has tanked from $7.7 billion to around $538 million! That's a bigger drop than when I tried to skateboard down a flight of stairs. (Spoiler alert: I did NOT land it). But hey gotta respect the hustle. They're saying they're gonna use the savings to invest in new product and technology development. Maybe they'll finally figure out how to stop those awkward 'hey' messages. You know the ones!

Whitney Wolfe Herd's Back?! It's a Comeback Story!

So the founder Whitney Wolfe Herd stepped down as CEO then BOOM! She's back! It's like when Chandler almost left 'Friends' then we all realized he was the funniest one. (Sorry Ross). I'm always inspired to see leaders come back swinging! Hopefully she can turn things around. I mean if she can build a billion dollar dating app she can handle anything right?

Okay let's talk numbers. Bumble expects revenues between $244 million and $249 million this quarter. Adjusted EBITDA? Between $88 million and $93 million. Okay I barely know what EBITDA means but more money good right? They even bumped up their previous forecast! Progress!
