Apparently back when smartphones were poppin' like DJ Jazzy Jeff's beats Facebook saw Instagram and WhatsApp blowin' up faster than Carlton at a Tom Jones concert. And according to Khan Zuck and the crew panicked! They went full 'buy or bury,' snatchin' up the competition faster than Geoffrey snatches the newspaper. Talk about shady!

The FTC is sayin' that Meta basically monopolized the whole personal social network scene with those billion dollar deals for Instagram in '12 and WhatsApp in '14. I mean a billion?
