A Khaleesi's Decree: The Iron Throne and the Electric Car

My loyal subjects your Khaleesi has turned her attention from dragons and conquering Westeros to a matter of grave importance in the modern world: Tesla's first quarter earnings. News reaches me that Tesla is expected to report earnings per share of a mere 39 cents and revenue of $21.11 billion. A slight decline from the previous year but what is a mere billion or two to a Mother of Dragons? However whispers in the wind carry tales of turmoil. Much like the squabbling houses of Westeros Wall Street analysts are all aflutter about tariffs and the Mad King— I mean Elon Musk's—bromance with the White House. It seems even the most powerful of us cannot escape the political games.

Deliveries and Dragons: A Tale of Two Declines

Earlier this month Tesla reported a 13% decline in deliveries a most concerning sign. Blame is cast upon factory upgrades for the Model Y but I Daenerys know that excuses are like sands in the desert – plentiful and meaningless. Deliveries are the closest approximation of vehicle sales they say. In Westeros we have ravens to deliver messages but in this world it seems these electric chariots are faltering. Perhaps they need a dragon's fiery breath to ignite their sales once more! Where are my dragons when I need them most?

Hang Onto Your Stock: Words of a Mad King?

Elon Musk in a manner reminiscent of a Targaryen monarch addressing his court attempted to reassure his employees. "Hang onto your stock," he proclaimed. Sound advice perhaps or the ramblings of a man who has stared too long into the Silicon Valley sun? He speaks of Model Y's popularity robotics artificial intelligence and autonomous vehicles. All well and good but even the most advanced technology is no match for a well placed dragon or a cunning political maneuver. Remember my people "Fire cannot kill a dragon," but tariffs might singe its scales a bit.

The Political Game: When Elon Met Trump

Ah politics. A game more treacherous than any played in King's Landing. Musk's dalliances with President Trump have stirred the pot much like I stirred the hearts of the Dothraki. He even dared to joke about the backlash likening it to Armageddon. "I can't walk past the TV without seeing a Tesla on fire," he quipped. Perhaps he should try flying past on a dragon; it’s a much more effective mode of transportation and entertainment!

The Tariff Storm: Winter is Coming and It's Expensive

Now the true threat emerges: tariffs. Even I Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea understand that taxes and tolls can make or break an empire. Musk called Peter Navarro Trump's top trade advisor a "moron" and "dumber than a sack of bricks." Strong words even for a dragon queen! These tariffs could hit Tesla hard as they rely on suppliers from Mexico and China. It seems even the mightiest of companies are not immune to the whims of politics and trade wars. Is it me or do leaders and presidents love to make wars (trade or otherwise)?!

A Dragon's Conclusion: Burn Them All or Just the Tariffs?

In conclusion Tesla faces challenges on multiple fronts: declining deliveries political entanglements and the looming specter of tariffs. The question is will Elon Musk navigate these stormy seas with the grace of a dragon rider or will his empire crumble like the Red Keep under siege? Only time will tell. But one thing is certain: your Khaleesi will be watching with a dragon's eye for both power and peril. Perhaps "I will take what is mine with fire and blood," but for now I will settle for a strong cup of Dornish wine and a keen observation of the game. And "where are my dragons" to burn down the tariffs?

This is like watching the Iron Throne crumble all over again.

Perhaps Tesla should build a flamethrower instead of cars. Market will definitely appreciate that.
