Cosmic News Flash!
Hey Binary Brigade! Your favorite cosmic guardian Carol Danvers here reporting live from... well not space today. Seems even intergalactic heroes gotta keep an eye on what's happening back on Earth. And guess what? Uber just dropped a bomb – a *food* bomb that is! They're gobbling up a massive chunk (85% to be exact) of Trendyol GO the Turkish food delivery giant for a cool $700 million. I guess even billionaires get hangry.
Turkish Delight (Delivered!)
So what's the deal? Trendyol GO is a big player in Turkey delivering everything from kebabs to baklava (Yum! Maybe I should order something). They're run by Trendyol which is mostly owned by Alibaba – yes *that* Alibaba sans the forty thieves hopefully. These guys moved over 200 million orders last year and are making $2 Billion in bookings. Impressive right? Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi is quoted as saying that this deal will "elevate the delivery sector in Türkiye". He seems pretty excited. This could mean better faster service which I am definitely a fan of!
From Binary to Burgers
Now I know what you're thinking: What does this have to do with me Captain Marvel defender of the universe? Well even superheroes need a night off right? Sometimes you just want someone to bring you that shawarma (I’ve had some excellent shawarma with the Avengers ask them about it sometime!) instead of battling Thanos level threats. Plus a strong economy on Earth means a stronger Earth to defend. See? It's all connected!
Earnings... and Eatings!
This whole announcement came just as Uber was about to reveal their first quarter earnings. Word on the street (or should I say on the galactic comms network?) is they're expecting a solid performance. Guess delivering all those meals is paying off! Also this means I can order a delivery while in space and no one can stop me!
No Kree ations Here
But jokes aside this is a significant move. It shows Uber's serious about expanding globally and dominating the food delivery game. This deal could reshape the entire market in Turkey benefiting everyone from small restaurants to hungry customers (like me!). As long as they promise not to use any Skrull technology in their delivery system I'm all for it.
Higher Further Faster... to the Checkout!
So there you have it! Uber's got a new Turkish treat and I've got a hankering for some late night pide. This is Captain Marvel signing off. Remember stay super stay hungry and maybe leave a good tip for your delivery person... they're doing the real heroic work here. Now if you'll excuse me my phone is buzzing. Time to see if they deliver to space... you never know! Danvers out!

I hope this deal actually improves service and doesn't just line the pockets of corporations.
