Meta or as it was once known Facebook (a name I could actually pronounce without sounding like a parrot) is pouring gold into this 'Metaverse' contraption. Reality Labs they call it. More like Reality's Labyrinth if you ask me. A whopping $4.2 billion vanished this quarter alone! It's enough to make a pirate weep... with laughter of course. And they only made $412 million? That's barely enough to buy a decent ship let alone a fleet to plunder the digital seas!

This Reality Labs ye see is responsible for these 'Quest' goggles and glasses that supposedly let ye prance about in a world that ain't there. Zuckerberg bless his heart thinks this is the future! A future where we all stumble around in our chambers with goggles on mistaking pixels for paradise! He says it'll take years to make this work! Years! I barely manage to stay alive for a few months at a time let alone wait for some virtual trinket to become profitable! It's like chasing the horizon always there but never within reach savvy?
