They were expectin' more and as I always said 'You have to expect things of yourself before you can do them.'

Taco Bell: The MVP of the Portfolio

Taco Bell is straight fire droppin' 9% growth. That’s what I call clutch! While the rest of the team is struggling Taco Bell shows up game in and game out. It's like watching Scottie Pippen in his prime – consistent reliable and always deliverin’ the heat. They must be cheffin’ up some secret sauce. You know somethin’ special that no one else has! They are proving they are number one... I’m number one they are number two.

KFC: Fightin' Like a Rookie

KFC they're puttin' up a fight but they gotta remember defense wins championships or at least keeps you in the game. Sales are up 2% but the US business? Yikes. Down 1%. They're gettin' beat out by Wingstop and Raising Cane's. They need to dig deep find that killer instinct. Gotta want it more than the other guy. They need to stop dreaming and get after it like I did every time I stepped on that court! I guess its a flu game for them lets see if they can pull up.

Pizza Hut: Needs a Timeout STAT!

Pizza Hut... Oh Pizza Hut. That’s where the wheels are fallin' off people. Same store sales are down 2% with a 5% drop in the US. That’s not just a slump that’s a full blown crisis! They need to figure out what's goin' wrong fast. It's like watching the Bulls in '99 after I retired… painful. They need to practice more or maybe invest in some better ingredients. Or you know hire MJ as the spokesperson problem solved!

Digital Game: Changing the Game

Gotta give them credit where it's due. Digital orders are up accountin' for 55% of total sales. That's the future baby! Stayin' ahead of the curve adaptin' to the times. Even I had to adjust my game over the years. Remember when everyone said I couldn't shoot threes? Then I went out there and proved 'em wrong. It's the same with business – adapt or get left behind. However digital ain't everything if you're serving up some bad pizza.

Word on the street is CEO David Gibbs is hangin' up his sneakers in 2026. Big shoes to fill folks. Someone's gotta step up and lead this team.
