Apparently living longer is one of three 'transformational innovation opportunities'. The other two are AI and power and resources... But who needs robots and power plants when you've got... grandmas and grandpas? These strategists are saying the ever increasing lifespans are creating a range of investment opportunities. Maybe I should invest in a bigger mushroom kingdom retirement home? "Here we go!"

Retirement Living: More Popular Than Princess Peach's Cake!

Retirement living is growing faster than I can eat a plate of spaghetti – a whopping 4% each year until 2030! Those baby boomers are getting closer to 80 and they're gonna need places to chill like independent living assisted living and maybe even a mushroom castle or two. The National Investment Center says we'll need tons of extra units like 200,000 by 2025. That's a lot of plumbing to do!

Ventas: Jumping for Joy with Dividends!

UBS is eyeing two real estate investment trusts (REITs) that are gonna rake in the coins and they both pay dividends. First up Ventas! They got senior housing nursing homes the whole shebang. And get this a 2.8% dividend yield! That's more exciting than finding a 1 Up! Analyst Jonathan Woloshin likes the diversity. They're spread out across the US Canada and the UK with over 1,400 properties! "Mamma Mia!"

Welltower: Scaling the Heights of Profit!

Then there's Welltower with over 1,500 senior housing post acute communities and even outpatient medical places. They're also in the US UK and Canada. They pay about a 1.8% dividend yield! Analyst Thomas Parmentier says they've got a strong portfolio and are in a good spot after that pesky COVID thing. The stock is up 21% this year! Now that's what I call a high score! "It's a me Welltower!"
