This is the Way... things are apparently. Just got word from some fella named Howard Lutnick Commerce Secretary says the U.S. ain't changing tariff levels on Chinese imports. Not one bit. Trade deal or no trade deal. Seems like a simple enough job but these bureaucrats always make it complicated. I could handle these negotiations. Bring 'em in warm or I can bring 'em in cold.

Truth Social... More Like Truth ish Social

Then there's this fella Trump says tariffs are at 55% on Truth Social. A White House official chirped in that its not a new number. Sounds like someone's been hitting the spice mines a little too hard. Always with the theatrics these politicians. Makes me miss the quiet life of bounty hunting... almost.

London Calling... For a Trade Deal?

Apparently Lutnick and other big wigs had some pow wow in London. Talked trade made deals probably drank some fancy teas. Trump says the deal is 'done' but it is 'subject to final approval'. Kinda like when I capture a bounty. They ain't truly mine until I get the credits. This is the way.

China's Stance: Holding Steady at 10%

China's tariffs on the U.S. are holding steady at 10%. Since they agreed last month to chill out on retaliatory duties. 90 day reprieve they call it. Feels like I'm chasing a bounty with a tracking fob that keeps running out of juice. Always one step forward two steps back.

Rare Earths: The New Beskar?

Seems like some squabble over "rare earths" too. Trump says China will supply them. Full magnets. Up front. Sounds like he's trying to get his hands on some new Beskar. I know a thing or two about getting my hands on rare materials. It ain't always pretty.

Opening Up China: A Galaxy of Opportunity?

Trump also mentioned working with President Xi to open up China to American Trade. If this deal goes through then everyone's happy and can get along well. We'll see. Hope they can keep their word better than some of the bounties I've chased. This is the way... or at least it should be.
