Apparently President Trump he's a got himself involved in trying to stop this 'bloodbath' in Ukraine. He's a gonna talk to Putin and Zelenskyy on Monday hoping to get them to stop fighting! 'Here we go!'... I hope this works!

Trade and Truce: More Important than Mushrooms and Stars?

Trump is a saying the talks are about trade and more importantly stopping the violence. He says the war 'should have never happened.' Well duh! Nobody wants a war unless it's a kart race right Luigi? The call with Putin is a scheduled for 5 p.m. Moscow time which is like 10 a.m. in American time. They'll a be talking about the agreements from the Istanbul talks last week. Sounds like a long level with a lot of hidden blocks if you ask me!

No Peach No Progress?

So these Istanbul talks they were supposed to bring Putin and Zelenskyy together like me and Peach after a tough level. But a nope! They didn't show. All they got was an agreement to trade prisoners. 'Thank you so much for a playing my game!'...said no one after that meeting. Trump is a threatening to pull out of the whole thing if they don't make progress. Sounds like someone needs a Super Star to boost their motivation!

From Bowser's Ally to (Maybe) the Good Guy?

Apparently Trump was a all cozy with the Kremlin after things got chilly under Biden. But now he's a talking tough threatening sanctions and backing a ceasefire. It's like Bowser suddenly deciding to help me save Peach! What a plot twist! But with all this talk of truces and peace proposals nothing's a really happening yet. Everyone wants everything their way. 'It's a me!'…still waiting for peace!

Rubio's Role: More Important than Toad?

Secretary of State Marco Rubio is a saying the US has a 'strong peace plan' and is happy about the prisoner exchange. He says the Russians are a working on a ceasefire document and hopefully the Ukrainians will do the same. But Rubio's also getting impatient. He doesn't want 'endless talks.' It's a like trying to beat a level with a hundred hidden exits. You just wanna get to the flagpole!

Europe Jumps in: Everyone Wants a Piece of the Mushroom?

Zelenskyy is a complaining about the 'low level' Russians at the Istanbul talks. Meanwhile European leaders are a calling Trump to talk about the situation. They're all a talking about sanctions if Russia doesn't take the peace talks seriously. It's a like everyone is a scrambling for a Super Mushroom hoping it will give them the power to fix things! I just hope they can 'get mushroomed' and work together. 'Yahoo! Let's a go save the world!'... or at least Ukraine.
