It's a me Mario reporting live from the Mushroom Kingdom...err well kinda! Seems like things are getting a little crazy over in the U.S. House of Representatives with this 'megabill' of President Trump's. They were up all night like me trying to beat a tough level trying to get this thing passed. Sounds like Speaker Mike Johnson was pulling a Bowser trying to wrangle some rebellious Republicans. Talk about a super challenge!

Trump's on the Phone: 'It's a Me...Vote YES!'

Apparently even the big boss himself President Trump was on the phone probably saying something like 'It's a me Trump! Vote YES or you'll be swimming with the Cheep Cheeps!' He even tweeted about it! "FOR REPUBLICANS THIS SHOULD BE AN EASY YES VOTE. RIDICULOUS!!!" Mamma Mia! Sounds like he's about to jump down a warp pipe and sort things out himself!

A Wahoo! Almost There!

After much back and forth like trying to dodge those pesky Bullet Bills they finally passed the motion to start the final debate. It was a close one 219 213! Only one Republican Brian Fitzpatrick joined the Democrats. Now that's a brave move! Reminds me of the time I took on King Boo all by myself.

Tax Cuts and Social Safety Nets? What's the Deal?

This bill they say extends tax cuts but also...gulp...slashes the social safety net. Democrats are not happy! Representative Gabe Amo said the top 1% will get an extra $300,000 a year while 17 million people could lose their health insurance. That's a no good! Sounds like Bowser is stealing all the coins again leaving the little Toads with nothing!

Medicaid Mayhem!

They are talking about cuts to Medicaid which is important for a lot of people. Sounds like House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries has been fighting the good fight telling stories of people who depend on the program. The Senate even added a $5 trillion debt limit hike! Yikes! That's more coins than I've collected in my whole career!

A Watch Out! Debt Ahead!

The Congressional Budget Office is warning this bill could add $3.4 trillion to the already huge debt. The White House? They are not convinced. It's a like arguing with Kamek about whether the princess is in another castle or not. This is all happening while there's economic craziness with potential tariffs on the way.
