A Spectacle Fit for a Dragon King?

Hark loyal subjects! Your Khaleesi brings tidings from across the Narrow Sea… well across the great waters to a land called Washington. It seems a certain leader one Donald Trump has decided to celebrate the anniversary of his army with a parade of such magnitude it would make even Robert Baratheon blush after a successful hunt! Tanks helicopters the whole dragon sized shebang! One might think he's preparing to face the White Walkers not merely marking a date on the calendar.

The Iron Throne's Grip

This Trump much like certain kings I've known (Aerys anyone?) seems keen on displays of power. They say he’s wanted this parade for ages but his advisors (his Varys and Tyrion if you will) dissuaded him. Now with his court full of 'loyalists' (a term that can be oh so deceptive) he gets his wish. But mark my words a king who needs to constantly remind his people of his strength is often the weakest of all. As I always say 'I will take what is mine with fire and blood.' But perhaps a bit less blood this time eh?

"No Kings Day"? More Like "No Dragon Queen Day"

Ah but not everyone is thrilled by this display. It seems many smallfolk are protesting calling it 'No Kings Day.' How ironic! They reject the very idea of kings while I the Mother of Dragons am trying to *become* one. Perhaps I should send Drogon to have a *friendly* chat with these protestors. A little fire might warm their rebellious hearts! No I am just kidding! Although I understand the need to speak up they are indeed not wrong in their views of a single ruler!

Storms Brewing Both Real and Metaphorical

Even the heavens seem displeased with thunderstorms threatening to dampen (literally) the parade. One can only hope this isn't an omen. Between these protests and those troubles in Los Angeles… it feels like a storm is brewing one that no dragon can easily quell. I can only hope this is not a sign of things to come. I hope I can unite everyone to join my side and have a common goal.

Gold as Dragons' Breath: The Cost of Kingship

And the cost! Forty five *million* dragons! I mean dollars. They say it's a 'waste' when the realm is already burdened with debt. Sounds familiar! Building my fleet wasn't cheap you know. But Trump claims it's 'peanuts.' Well those 'peanuts' could feed a lot of starving children in Flea Bottom I daresay! I should teach him a thing or two about economics.

The Greatest Weapons in the World (According to Trump)

Trump boasts of having the 'greatest weapons in the world.' Of course he does. Every king claims to have the biggest… kingdom. But let me tell you nothing beats the raw power of three fully grown dragons! Perhaps I should offer him a trade: one dragon for his entire army. What do you say Trump? A fair bargain wouldn't you agree? I am sure he would be much more safe with a dragon and with my support.
