Billionaire investor Leon Cooperman a name that sounds like a character from a Greek myth gone wrong is raising alarms louder than my Lasso of Truth at a politician's convention. He believes that President Trump's tariffs are a 'mistake' and could trigger a recession. A recession! As if battling Ares wasn't enough now we have to worry about economic Armageddon!

Cooperman this modern day oracle claims Trump is intentionally trying to lower interest rates by... causing a recession? Is this some kind of backwards logic I'm too Amazonian to understand? He's quoted as saying 'I think there's too much confidence in the system...and we're correcting that right now.' Correcting it? Sounds more like demolishing it with a wrecking ball! As I always say 'Fighting doesn't make you a hero.' Perhaps a little diplomacy would be more effective than these economic Thunderbolts of Zeus.

The stock market is behaving like a banshee at a karaoke night. U.S. stock futures are plummeting faster than I can say 'Great Hera!' The S&P 500 is nearing bear market territory after a 10% two day decline. This is no time to panic and sell everything! Remember 'You are stronger than you believe; you have greater powers than you know.' But maybe just maybe stash some gold under your mattress just in case.

Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell a man whose name sounds like a sneeze says the central bank won't move on interest rates until they get a clearer picture of the tariff impacts. So they're waiting for a sign? Perhaps they should consult the Oracle of Delphi... or me. I have a pretty good track record of seeing through deception economic or otherwise. Steve Trevor always said I had a knack for knowing when things were about to hit the fan! 'Only love can truly save the world.' But in this case maybe a little financial foresight too.

According to our doomsaying Cooperman the worst is yet to come. He's watching for companies to report disappointing results stocks to plummet and then... what? Rainbows and unicorns?
