Greetings mortals! Wonder Woman here trading my Lasso of Truth for a stock ticker… temporarily of course. Let's be honest even I can't make sense of the energy sector these days. It's been more disappointing than a man who doesn't believe in equality! But fear not because amidst the chaos one beacon of hope shines: Williams Companies or WMB for those of you who speak fluent Wall Street.

Themyscira Sized Accumulation Phase

For most of 2024 WMB was in a 'clear accumulation phase'. Now I may prefer accumulating world peace but this stock was busy rising from a measly $35 to over $60 by November. It's like watching Steve Trevor finally learn to use a lasso – impressive but took a while. Since then it's been consolidating like waiting for a slow elevator.

Big Base Breakout or Just Hot Air?

We've been watching this WMB stock for six months waiting for a breakout! If it bursts through that $62 resistance like I burst through walls (for the greater good naturally) we're looking at a target of around $72. That’s a good return! 'What you do is not who you are,' but what WMB does next will certainly define its stock price! Hopefully it will go up or I will have to get involved.

Chaikin Money Flow: Even I Can Understand It!

The Chaikin Money Flow – sounds complicated doesn't it? Even Hippolyta would need a minute to understand. But fear not! It's just a fancy way of saying there's been more buying than selling. The readings have been above zero since December 2024 indicating bullish sentiment even when the price was just going sideways. It's like training for the Olympics but just running in place. Good effort but needs a burst of action.

WMB has not only outperformed the S&P 500 which is great; it's also doing better than other pipeline companies! This shows it’s an individual winner not just riding the energy wave. I was taught that the best approach is to find winning stocks in leading industries and then follow those uptrends as long as possible. This reminds me of fighting villains; sometimes you must focus on the strongest one!
