I Have Spoken: The Market Has Gone Mad

The news from this 'Trump' character and his 'tariffs' has reached even the Outer Rim. Seems this fella decided to slap taxes on everything and now the markets are doing a Kessel Run in reverse. I hear tell the Dow Jones Industrial Average (whatever that is) is down so bad even Jawas wouldn't salvage it. This ain't the way to run a business let alone a galaxy or whatever this 'United States' is. Seems like a Sarlacc pit of economic despair if you ask me.

Credits Are Down Beskar Prices Are Up!

I've seen tougher times smuggling spice through an Imperial blockade. But this 'Bitcoin' thing? They say it's lost 15% of its value. Sounds like my bounties after Greef Karga takes his cut! Even crypto is crashing and that’s saying something. Investors are nervous which means less credits floating around. Less credits mean less work for bounty hunters like me. This is not good for the Guild or for anyone needing to replace a busted helmet.

Lutnick's Tariffs: 'This is the Way... to a Trade War'

This Commerce Secretary Lutnick is saying these 'tariffs' are here to stay. Says the 'president' needs to 'reset global trade'. Sounds like the kind of thing a Moff Gideon would say before vaporizing a whole planet to get what he wants. Everybody's got a trade surplus? Well I've got a pile of bounties to collect and this trade war ain't helping. This is not the way.

Recession? I Don't Like the Sound of That!

Treasury Secretary Bessent is trying to tell everyone there's no recession. Says these Trump fellas are 'building long term economic fundamentals'. Sounds like typical Imperial propaganda to me. 'Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen.' But I've seen enough to know when a Hutt is trying to sell me a bantha burger as prime cut nerf. If credits get any tighter I might have to take a job from a Quarren... and nobody wants that.

Berkshire Hathaway: The Beskar of Investments?

This 'Berkshire Hathaway' run by some old codger named Warren Buffett seems to be weathering the storm. They're calling it the 'safe' option. Probably stocked with Beskar ingots and Mandalorian armor if you ask me. While everyone else is losing credits these guys are just chilling like a Gamorrean guard at Jabba's palace.

China's Got Something to Say? I'm Listening

Now China is saying 'the market has spoken'. They're slapping tariffs right back. Sounds like my kind of fight! Except you know with credits instead of blaster bolts. All this squabbling over tariffs and trade just means more instability. And more instability means... you guessed it... more bounties! Maybe this ain't so bad after all. But I still prefer my targets alive.
