A Galaxy Far Far Away...From Tariffs
Well well well looks like someone's been watching my moves. Apple those fruit peddlers from Coruscant...I mean California decided to pull a fast one on ol' Trumpy. Turns out Foxconn and Tata their main squeeze in India shipped nearly two billion credits...err dollars worth of iPhones to the States in March. This is the way to dodge taxes I tell you. I mean tariffs. Whatever. It's all credits to me.
This is the Way...to Fly iPhones!
Apparently these slick operators didn't want to get caught in the crossfire of Trump's tariff tantrum so they upped their production in India and chartered cargo flights. I'm talking 600 tons of iPhones being whisked away like they're smuggling spice from Kessel. You know if I didn't make a better living tracking bounties I'd consider going into the iPhone smuggling business.
Do or Do Not There Is No Try...To Avoid Tariffs
See the U.S. administration slapped a 26% duty on imports from India. That's child's play compared to the mess China was in. Trump has since paused most duties so they say. Foxconn exported over a billion credits worth of iPhones a record month! They shipped enough iPhones to make even a Jawa blush. iPhone 13 14 16 and 16e models were on board I heard though I do not even know what versions of these are. Probably the 17 18 and 19 are already in the pipeline sheesh.
I Have Spoken...About Tata's Shipments
Tata Electronics also jumped into the fray exporting over half a billion credits worth of iPhones in March. This is becoming more profitable than Beskar steel trading! I bet even the Armorer would be tempted to switch gears to iPhone assembly. Now let's be honest I do not know much about the details these big corporations rarely respond to my HoloNet messages anyway.
Never Tell Me the Odds...Of Customs Clearance
The Chennai Air Cargo terminal was buzzing like a hive of Gungans. All Foxconn shipments were air freighted landing in Los Angeles New York and especially Chicago. To make things even smoother Apple strong armed Indian airport authorities to cut customs clearance time from 30 hours to just six. Now that's what I call efficiency. Maybe I should hire their logistics team for my next bounty run.
This is the Way...To Beat the System!
They used at least six cargo jets in this scheme which was described as a way to beat the tariffs. I have to admit I respect the hustle. It's not quite as daring as taking on a Mudhorn but it's impressive. The Empire would have loved to have such a resourceful bunch on their side. Maybe they still do... This is the way to move goods!
babystarr
Can't believe they pulled it off without getting caught by the Mandalorians.
