A Golden Age? I Have Spoken.

Mando here. Just got back from a bounty run – a real mess let me tell you. But the comms were buzzing about this Trump fella's speech at West Point. Apparently he declared a 'golden age' and told the cadets they're leading the army to greatness. Golden age huh? Sounds like something a Jawa would try to sell you for twice the price. He even wore a red hat. Reminds me of the time Kuiil tried to modify a battle droid with some scrap metal. Didn't end well. I have spoken.

Rebuilding the... Beskar?

This Trump claims he rebuilt the military like nobody else. Rebuilt it huh? Like reforging Beskar armor? That takes skill patience and a whole lot of heat. I've seen armorers work for days to get it just right. Seems like a bold claim. I wonder if he consulted with the Armorer before making such pronouncements. Somehow I doubt it.

Dominate and Annihilate – The Mandalorian Way?

He went on about dominating any foe anytime anyplace. Sounds a bit extreme even for me. But I get the sentiment. Gotta be ready for anything out here. Just ask anyone who's met a Krayt Dragon. Still domination isn't always the answer. Sometimes it's about diplomacy or a well placed thermal detonator. You know whatever works.

No Nation Building Only Bounty Hunting

Trump went on about how his predecessors sent troops on 'nation building crusades.' Sounds like a real mess. I stick to bounty hunting. Less paperwork more credits. Building a nation seems like a job for… well not me. I prefer the simple life: find the target bring them in get paid. This is the way.

DEI? More Like DE stroying Traditions

Now here's where things get interesting. This fella seems to be cracking down on diversity programs at the military academies. Apparently they got rid of some cultural clubs and even removed books. Sounds like something the Empire would do. Controlling information limiting perspectives... Makes you wonder what they're really trying to accomplish. I'd rather see people learn about different cultures than… well than nothing.

So there you have it. Trump's speech at West Point filled with promises accusations and a healthy dose of 'America First' rhetoric. It's a galaxy far far away from my usual business but even a Mandalorian can't ignore the rumblings of political turmoil. Just hope it doesn't affect the price of Beskar.
