I Have Spoken: The News
A transmission came through the Razor Crest's comms – seems Stellantis the karkin' conglomerate behind brands like Jeep Dodge Fiat Chrysler and Peugeot is ditching their financial guidance for the year. Why? Because of some on again off again trade policies from the ex mudslinger in charge on Coruscant... I mean uh Earth. Seems even Hutts have more stable deals than these guys. This is the way... to corporate chaos apparently.
Credits Don't Lie But Numbers Sure Can
Stellantis reported a net revenue of 35.8 billion euros in the first quarter. Sounds like a pile of Beskar right? Wrong. That's a 14% drop from last year. They're blaming it on shipping less product selling the wrong mix of vehicles and... wait for it... "price normalization." Sounds like fancy talk for "we charged too much and people stopped buying our stuff." I've seen more creative excuses from Jawas trying to sell me scrap.
Mando Math: Less Bang for Your Buck
Let's break it down Mando style. Less shipments mean less credits. A bad regional mix? Sounds like someone's trying to sell sand to Tattooine folk. And "price normalization?" That's just fancy talk for we thought we could charge extra for that sweet chrome finish but turns out folks ain't buying it. I bet they wish they had some darksaber right now.
Trump Card? More Like a Dejarik Holo mess
The real kicker? They're pointing fingers at Trump's trade policies. Back and forth more than a podrace. You know I try to stay out of galactic politics but when it affects my ability to buy jetpack fuel I take notice. Seems this trade war is hitting their bottom line harder than a thermal detonator to a droid.
This Is The Way... To Uncertainty
So what does this all mean? Well if you were planning on buying a shiny new speeder… err I mean a Jeep Dodge Fiat Chrysler or Peugeot you might want to hold your breath. Prices could fluctuate more than a Sarlacc's stomach. And as for Stellantis? They’re walking a tightrope across a Sarlaac pit of uncertainty. Time will tell if they have the Beskar to get across safely. This is the way... to financial anxiety.
Update: I Have Spoken Again
Razor Crest needs parts. Credits are tight. This trade war is affecting us all. Now I have to go and find some bounties and I do not want to take any side missions. I am out.

This is the way... to a recession.

Trade wars are a waste of time and resources. Let people trade!
