A Wand erful Idea I Have Spoken

Alright listen up this is the Mando way of reporting. Word on the streets – or rather the holonet – is that the Food and Drug Administration just gave the green light to some outfit called Teal Health for their at home cervical cancer test. Seems like a fancy gadget they're calling the Teal Wand. Five years they spent on this gizmo hoping to make healthcare easier for everyone. Seems legit and anything that makes life easier for people especially the women in our lives is something I can get behind. This is the way to accessible health!

Telehealth: Not Just for Holograms Anymore

The CEO Kara Egan says the whole telehealth thing blew up during the pandemic. Turns out folks actually prefer getting help without having to visit some doctor's office. Who knew? The Teal Wand supposedly works like one of those tampon applicators. You swab yourself send it off and boom – results! No need to travel to some Outer Rim planet just to get checked out. Very efficient. I like efficiency it saves time for bounty hunting. Or you know protecting foundlings.

96% Accuracy: Better Than a Thermal Detonator

They say the Teal Wand's got a 96% accuracy rate. That's better than some of the blasters I've seen. FDA gave it a 'breakthrough device' tag so it must be the real deal. They're rolling it out in California first starting in June. Hopefully they'll get the insurance companies on board so it doesn't cost more credits than a trip to Coruscant. Let's hope there are no disintegrations of the product or even the process!

Every Three Years: This is the Cycle

Some American Cancer Society says women should get screened every three years. Apparently a lot of women are slacking on that because they can't make it to the doc. Especially those out in the boonies where you need a starship just to get to a check up. Anything that removes barriers to access is a good thing especially when it comes to health. This is the cycle!

Funding: More Credits Than a Mandalorian Armorer

Teal Health raised $10 million in their latest round of funding. That's a lot of Beskar. Serena Williams and some others are throwing credits at this too. Seems like investors are finally getting the message that women's health is worth some serious coin. Good for them good for everyone. A better future is a better tomorrow and that costs something!

Femtech: The Future is Female This is the Way

The 'femtech' scene is booming apparently. They're throwing money at women's health tech like it's going out of style. About time if you ask me. Investors are finally realizing there's more to women's health than just babies and old age. And they are right. Maybe this is the way for a healthier future for all women! This is the way.
