Welcome to New York It's Been Waiting for You... and a Protest!

So the news broke that a group called Planet Over Profit staged a protest right here in my beloved adopted city New York! Apparently they weren't too thrilled with Palantir's work with ICE and the Israeli military. Like 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' level of disapproval. Six people ended up in custody which sounds like a lyric waiting to happen. Honestly sometimes I feel like I need a 'Blank Space' to write about all the drama in the world!

ICE ICE Maybe Not So Nice

Planet Over Profit is saying Palantir is 'turbocharging ICE deportations.' That's a pretty strong statement and not the kind you can just 'Shake It Off' from. They also mentioned Palantir's 'complicity in the genocide of Palestinians.' It's giving me 'Mean' vibes and not in a good way. It's tough when tech companies get involved in such complicated situations.

Palantir's Response? *Crickets*

Now usually when someone accuses you of something you respond right? But Palantir? Radio silence. They didn't 'return a request for comment,' which is like ghosting someone after the first date. Rude! Makes you wonder what they're 'Out of the Woods' about. Perhaps they are in their 'Getaway Car' to escape the controversy?

Peter Thiel and the Million Dollar Donation

Oh and did I mention that Peter Thiel one of Palantir's co founders gave a cool million to President Trump's inauguration fund? Politics! It's a 'Delicate' dance isn't it? Seems like Palantir is playing a high stakes game and they know 'All Too Well' the risks involved.

From Exile to Operationally Crucial Operations

Palantir's CEO Alex Karp isn't exactly hiding under a rock. He's publicly supported Israel even saying he's 'exceedingly proud' of Palantir's involvement in 'operationally crucial operations' there. Bold move Cotton! Let's see if it pays off for him. Some employees even left the company because of his support for Israel. I bet they said “Look What You Made Me Do” and went their own way.

Stock Surge: Is It a Love Story or a House of Cards?

Despite all the controversy Palantir's stock is soaring! Up 500% in the last year? That's more dramatic than any of my music video budgets! It makes you wonder if the market is as blind as 'Love Story' makes us believe or if this is just a 'House of Cards' waiting to collapse. Only time will tell folks!
