Turns out these things called 'tariffs' that President Trump is doing are making stuff more expensive at places like Macy's and Nordstrom. These DataWeave guys they're like the Scouters of the retail world checking out all the prices. They say shoes are getting pricey! Apparently footwear prices are going up the fastest. But DSW Macy's and Nordstrom are still charging more. Stephen Lamar from the American Apparel and Footwear Association says tariffs are making back to school stuff more expensive. So if your kid wants a new Super Saiyan costume it might cost you a few extra Zeni!

Vietnam Victory? Not So Fast!

Trump made a deal with Vietnam but it might not be a win for us. The tariff rate on Vietnamese goods will be 20% and 40% if it originates in other countries such as China. Nike Lululemon Patagonia and H&M all rely on Vietnam's manufacturing so this could be a problem for consumers. It's like when Cell absorbed Android 17 things got complicated!

Bill Simon some former Walmart CEO says it's up to us now. If bananas get too expensive we can just buy oranges or another item. If we stop buying the stuff that's too expensive maybe the prices will come back down.
