A Nation Roars... Or Is It Just a Meow?

Madre de Dios! It appears the fur is flying here in the United States and not just because I Puss in Boots am the epitome of feline fabulousness. No amigos this is about something far more serious than my dazzling eyes or my skill with a blade. Across all 50 states protestors are taking to the streets their voices rising like the angry hiss of a cornered gato. Their target? The illustrious Donald Trump and the tech titan Elon Musk. It seems their policies have ruffled more than a few feathers... or should I say shed more than a few whiskers?

Hands Off! Or Else...

The rallying cry echoing from Washington D.C. to the sun kissed beaches of Florida is a resounding 'Hands Off!' Apparently these protestors are not amused by the downsizing of government the cutting of social programs and the general… how you say… 'meddling' in affairs of the common folk. Social Security human rights even protections for transgender people are all on the chopping block or so they say. Could it be that our fearless leaders have forgotten the wise words: 'When you stare into the abyss the abyss stares back'?

Musketeer of Mayhem or Master of Efficiency?

Ah Elon Musk the man who dreams of rockets and… apparently government efficiency. As the head of the newly formed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE – how clever!) he claims to be saving taxpayers billions. But is this true efficiency or simply a cunning disguise to further his nefarious plans? Some call him a modern day Robin Hood stealing from the rich and giving to… himself? The truth like a perfectly aimed sword thrust is likely somewhere in between. As my dear friend Donkey says 'That'll do pig. That'll do'.

Billionaires Oligarchs and Oh My!

A lawyer named Paul Osadebe a man who seems to have a nose for trouble like I have for a good plate of leche has accused Trump and Musk of valuing only profit and power. 'Billionaires and oligarchs don't value anything other than profit and power and they sure as hell don't value you or your life or your community,' he declared. Strong words indeed! Perhaps they should remember my famous line: 'I am the law!'

Deja Vu All Over Again?

This isn't the first time these activists have taken to the streets but so far it seems to lack the sheer volume of the Women's March in 2017 or the Black Lives Matter demonstrations in 2020. Is this just a small tremor before the earthquake or will it fade away like a fleeting dream? Only time and perhaps a dramatic musical number will tell.

The White House Strikes Back! (Sort Of)

In response to the protests the White House issued a statement claiming that President Trump will always protect Social Security Medicare and Medicaid. They also accused the Democrats of wanting to give those benefits to… gasp… illegal aliens! Oh the scandal! It seems the political chess game continues and the pawns – that is the good people of this nation – are caught in the middle. But fear not! For as long as there is injustice there will always be Puss in Boots to fight for the little guy! Even if that little guy is a donkey.
