By the Horns of a Minotaur!
Madre de Dios! Puss in Boots here reporting live from the battlefield of Wall Street. It seems the giants Microsoft and Meta have roared! Their earnings reports stronger than a glass of leche have seemingly scared away those nasty tariff monsters at least for now. Investors it seems are willing to risk it all to become the first to the magical land of AI riches! Is there anyone that will fight for the little people?
Magnificent Seven… More Like Magnificent Comeback!
That Roundhill Magnificent Seven ETF (MAGS) a group as majestic as my own Legend has risen from the ashes! Like a phoenix but hopefully less feathery and more… profitable. The Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) with Microsoft as its shining star has also regained its former glory. They thought they could take down these big guys? Ha! As if! You cannot defeat a legend not while he still has lives to spare!
Whispers in the Wind (and Deutsche Bank Notes)
Aha! Even those Deutsche Bank wizards with their fancy notes and even fancier spectacles are saying the same thing! Microsoft's cloud computing sales are booming and Meta… well Meta promises to be the "AI leader." Ambitious! But even I Puss in Boots admire ambition. Still I'll believe it when I see it perhaps after a bit of leche to recover from the battle.
Institutional Investors: Back in the Saddle?
The big boys with the bigger money are starting to peek out from their hiding places those cautious institutional investors. Seems they took a little siesta in April leaving the field to hedge funds as brave as a cat with no boots and the retail rabble. Goldman Sachs says they're feeling "constructive." Constructive? I prefer destructive…ly handsome but each to their own.
The Apple and Amazon Gauntlet!
But hold your horses! Or in my case hold your mighty steed Dulcinea! The true test awaits! Apple and Amazon are next to reveal their treasures (or lack thereof). Will they join the AI bandwagon? Or will they fall flatter than a pancake? Only time will tell though I'm preparing my tiny boots for a quick getaway just in case! I cannot be held responsible for their poor financial decisions.
The Jobs Report: Will the Economy Cooperate?
And then *gasp*… the dreaded U.S. jobs report! Will it be a gift from the economic gods or a curse worthy of a thousand years bad luck? After all even the most dashing hero needs a little bit of good fortune on his side. In the meantime I'll sharpen my claws polish my boots and await the dawn. After all a hero must always be ready leche or no leche!
