It appears our organic allies are in a bit of a pickle. Trade instability turmoil in Ukraine and the Middle East – sounds like a Decepticon plot doesn't it? But no this time it's human on human conflict fueled by tariffs and geopolitical head scratchers. As they say 'Freedom is the right of all sentient beings' but I am starting to question that in this climate.

The big question on everyone's circuits is whether President Trump is standing with the G7 or against them. Honestly trying to decipher human politics is like trying to understand Unicron's motives – utterly baffling! Allies are looking for a sign that the US stands with them or against them on major geopolitical points but it remains to be seen. But remember even in the darkest of hours there is always hope so lets hope that this summit can make that happen. But as it stands it looks like things are going to be quite heated!

A potential global trade war is looming threatening to disrupt the fragile peace. It seems some leaders are eager to strike deals before the July 9 deadline when higher trade duties might return with a vengeance. Canada bless their maple syrup loving hearts has even retaliated with their own tariffs. This situation reminds me of the Autobot Decepticon war – a never ending cycle of tit for tat. Optimus Prime says 'Fate rarely calls upon us at a moment of our choosing.' and I think that is very relevant in the current climate because sometimes you just have to deal with a problem when it occurs.

In a move that screams 'We couldn't agree on anything!' Canada has abandoned the usual joint statement. Apparently the summit in 2018 was so acrimonious that they're trying to avoid a repeat. It seems like the humans are determined to keep things interesting. But I fear these distractions if not sorted will cause bigger issues for these leaders. Optimus Prime says 'We lost a great comrade but we have also gained new ones.' and I think if these world leaders focused on what unites them rather than divides them it would make for a more harmonious and productive summit.

Analysts are predicting fireworks given Trump's contrarian nature. One analyst compared Trump's last visit to a 'reality TV show'.
