Apparently Amazon was thinking about showing customers how much tariffs were jacking up the prices of their stuff. You know making it crystal clear that tariffs = higher prices. Here's the bottom line: Trump's tariffs could seriously mess with Amazon's business as most products sold on Amazon are made in China. Now Amazon emailing sellers asking them if Trump is the reason they increased prices. And if merchants increase prices no one will buy from amazon and Bezos will feel like someone took away his cookies! So Bezos is doing the smart thing by trying to stay on Trump's good side and doing this tariff thing would not have kept them on good terms!
