Waste Management Stock Soaring? Looks Like Even Garbage Can't Stop Winning!

Another One? They Can't Stop Won't Stop!

Alright folks so I'm hearing JPMorgan is all in on Waste Management now. Seems like even garbage is getting an upgrade these days! Analyst Tami Zakaria is saying the stock is gonna jump almost 19%. Nineteen percent! Back in my day that's what I'd call a solid field goal percentage. Now THAT'S what I call garbage… ha! But seriously someone’s gotta clean up all the mess out there right? And apparently Waste Management's making a killing doing it.

Own the Landfill Own the Game

Zakaria's saying they basically own the landfill game. 'WM owns and operates the largest network of landfills in North America…' Sounds like owning the paint in the key if you ask me. High internalization rate? Retaining more margin? That’s like locking down the defensive boards and hitting every free throw. It’s about controlling the whole game folks. From the jump ball to the final buzzer… or in this case from the curb to the… well the curb on profits!

Growth? I Know a Thing or Two About That

High single digit growth over the next five years? That’s not quite the explosive 30+ points per game I was putting up but it’s consistent. And consistency wins championships people. 'EBITDA should rise…' Look I don’t speak fluent finance ese but I hear rising numbers and rising numbers mean winning. And winning… well winning is what I do.

Stericycle: The Newest Player on the Team

Apparently they bought Stericycle. Adding a new player to the roster. Analyst Tami is saying they’re fixing Stericycle up getting them from a 'low single digits' growth to 'mid single digits'. Sounds like a coaching job to me. Like getting Dennis Rodman to focus on the game... okay maybe not *that* good but you get the idea. Gotta whip those numbers into shape!

Tech: The Secret Weapon?

Technology! Even garbage collection is going high tech. Automated pickups improved route density… That’s like having the latest Air Jordans giving you an edge on the court… or in this case on the streets. They've still got about 2,000 routes to automate so it looks like there is still potential that's what I call potential in the post!

Trash Talk But the Good Kind

So yeah JPMorgan's pumping up Waste Management. And I Michael Jordan am saying... well I'm not saying *buy* the stock. But I *am* saying it looks like they're playing to win. And as I always say: 'Talent wins games but teamwork and intelligence wins championships.' And apparently really efficient garbage collection wins on Wall Street. Who knew?
