Apple's Eddy Cue suggests AI search could replace Google, sending Wall Street into a frenzy. I, Mark Zuckerberg, weigh in with humor and maybe a little concern.

Uh Oh Eddy Said What Now?

Alright so I woke up this week and saw Alphabet's stock took a dip because Eddy Cue from Apple decided to stir the pot. Apparently he thinks AI search engines are coming for Google's lunch money. He's talking about reshaping Safari with AI. I mean come on Eddy haven't we all learned that moving fast and breaking things is the only way to stay ahead? Oh wait... maybe *I* was the only one who learned that lesson. I think not. Jokes aside this development is worth keeping an eye on. It is all still theoretical though.

Gemini to the Rescue or Just Another Pair of Winklevoss Twins?

Of course everyone's talking about Alphabet's AI Gemini. Will it be the game changer we need or will it just be another set of Winklevoss twins – interesting but ultimately not Facebook (or Meta) material? The analysts are split. Some are seeing the upside highlighting our strong suite of products. And they are right. We make great products. Others are saying we need to 'make a bet already.' Well aren't we always betting? I'm always betting. It's kind of my thing.

Watershed Moment or Just a Puddle?

Wells Fargo is calling this a 'watershed moment.' Dramatic much? Look consumer behavior is always changing. That's why we can't get complacent. We have to keep innovating and adapting or else we'll end up like... well like a social network that peaked in 2012 and is now just a place for your aunt to share Minion memes. Oh wait...

Disrupt or Be Disrupted: My Life Motto (and Maybe Yours Too)

Melius Research is practically begging Alphabet to disrupt itself. 'Make a bet already!' they cry. Look I get it. 'Move fast and break things,' right? But sometimes moving *too* fast means you end up launching a metaverse that nobody asked for. So maybe a little calculated disruption is the way to go. You want to know how to stay relevant? Don't be afraid to build something that sucks. You will only get better from the failure.

ChatGPT Stealing Our Queries? Not on My Watch!

Citizens is worried about ChatGPT stealing our search queries. Okay that's a valid concern. But let's be real we've got seven services with over 2 billion monthly active users. That's a lot of eyeballs. Still we can't ignore the competition. We need to make sure our search product is still top notch. After all my main goal is to connect the entire world.

Hold on Tight It's Gonna Be a Bumpy Ride

MoffettNathanson is preparing us for a 'long bumpy journey.' Great. Just what I wanted to hear. But they also point out that our stock is cheap other divisions are growing and search might be more resilient than people think. So maybe we're not doomed after all. Maybe this is just another opportunity to prove everyone wrong. And who doesn't love proving people wrong? Especially when they're wearing hoodies.

I'm more worried about TikTok than Apple.

Maybe it's time to buy the dip? Or is it a falling knife?

Zuck, build a moat around Google Search with AI! Don't let Apple eat your lunch!
