Goldman Sachs BNP Paribas Citadel… they're all in on this Digital Asset thing. It's like seeing your grandma suddenly rocking a Bitcoin T shirt. Unexpected but kind of cool. I mean these are the institutions that used to associate crypto with… well let's just say less than savory activities. Now they're embedding themselves in it. Guess they finally realized that if you can't beat 'em tokenize 'em!

JPMD: JPMorgan's Stablecoin... Finally!

Speaking of big names JPMorgan launched its own stablecoin JPMD. It's like they are getting a seat in the table. I'm sure it's very… stable. Unlike some other ventures I know. But hey competition is good! It keeps us on our toes. Makes us want to build even bigger bolder things. Like a Metaverse where everyone can hang out in their pajamas...virtually.

Canton Network: The Blockchain Backbone

Digital Asset is betting big on their Canton Network. Open source public blockchain designed for finance… sounds complicated. But the gist is it's supposed to help banks and firms move assets and data around securely. Think of it as a super secure ultra fast digital pony express for money. Just without the ponies… or the smell.

Bonds commodities money market funds… apparently banks are tokenizing everything these days. It's like they're turning the real world into a giant video game where everything is an NFT. Yuval Rooz Digital Asset's CEO says this funding will help make blockchain's 'transformative promise' a reality. Look I'm all for transformative promises. I promised to connect the world and now everyone's arguing about politics with their long lost relatives. But I digress. If Canton Network can actually make finance more efficient and secure then more power to them! Just don't expect me to wear a suit and tie to the next blockchain conference.
