Wahoo! Mario here reporting live from... well not the Mushroom Kingdom but the world stage is heating up like Bowser's castle! Israel and Iran are at it throwing fireballs back and forth and it's getting spicy. Someone needs to find a Super Star pronto! From what I am gathering an Israeli defense leader has announced that they have taken down Saeed Izadi who they said was helping a group named Hamas before they attacked Israel.

He's Dead But Don't Take My Word For It

From what the article says Israel Katz said taking out this Izadi guy was a big win for Israeli intelligence and the Air Force. But the Iranian Revolutionary Guards are playing coy not even mentioning Izadi in their statements. Now I've fought plenty of Koopa Troopas in my day and this reminds me of when they try to sneak past you. Classic! What I do know is that since Israel decided to cause some Mayhem on June 13 about 430 people have died and 3,500 have been hurt in Iran. But in Israel some local folk have said that 24 civilians have been toasted by Iranian missiles.

Iran is saying they won't negotiate their nuclear stuff while they're being attacked. Can't say I blame them! It's like trying to bake a cake while Bowser is breathing down your neck. Not a good time. Their foreign minister Abbas Araqchi said the attacks need to stop before they can get back to 'diplomacy.' Sounds like someone needs a 1 Up!

President Trump is taking his sweet time deciding whether to jump into this mess. He's got two weeks to 'see whether or not people come to their senses.' Two weeks? That's like giving Bowser enough time to plan another kidnapping of Princess Peach! And he thinks Iran could get a nuke in 'a matter of weeks or certainly within a matter of months.' Yikes! Tel Aviv Under Siege? Sounds Like a Job for Super Mario!

The Israeli military warned about incoming attacks setting off alarms all over the place. Interceptions happened over Tel Aviv with explosions lighting up the sky. It sounds like someone needs to find a Warp Zone to a peaceful resolution pronto! But this news organization called Human Rights Activists News Agency is saying that 639 people died from the Israeli attacks. They are also saying that top military officials and nuclear scientists were among those who died.

Turkey Russia and China Want a Time Out!

While all this is happening Turkey Russia and China are yelling for everyone to calm down. It's like when I accidentally hit a Koopa Troopa shell and it ricochets all over the place. Everyone wants the madness to stop! But with Israel saying they won't stop until Iran's nuclear program is kaput and Iran refusing to give up uranium enrichment this conflict is shaping up to be a real challenge. Here is the thing Iran said that they are willing to talk about uranium enrichment limits. But they will reject any proposal that stops them from enriching it altogether especially because of these attacks from Israel. This is all as crazy as those pipes that lead to nowhere! It looks like it is going to take more than a super star to solve this problem! So long King Bowser!
