Mushroom Kingdom or Market Kingdom?
Mamma Mia! What's a going on here? It's a me Mario and I'm a reporting on something even crazier than Bowser's latest scheme. It's this Regencell Bioscience a company from Hong Kong. They say they're making traditional Chinese herb treatments for kids with ADHD and autism. Sounds nice right? But hold on to your hats folks because this story is about to get a wild! This company remind me of the time Luigi wanted to start a business selling Boo repellent… it didn't go well.
Jumpman Jumps on the Bandwagon (Sort Of)
So this Regencell – ticker RGC by the way – their stock went completely bonkers! It more than tripled on Monday after a stock split. And get this: their market value is bigger than Lululemon eBay and even Kraft Heinz! That's more valuable than cheese and yoga pants and that's saying something! I'm a used to big jumps but this is bigger than when I leap over Bowser's castle! Something smells fishy like when I find a rotten mushroom. Wah hoo!
No Revenue? That's a No Good!
Here's the kicker: they haven't made any money! Not a single gold coin! They lost millions of dollars according to their report. They haven't even gotten approval for their treatments. It's like a building a castle out of thin air! Even I know you need blocks to build a good castle. "Here we go!" into the details. This is more confusing than trying to read Wario's taxes.
Alternative Facts and Alternative Medicine
And here's another twist in the tale like a warp pipe leading to who knows where. Apparently this stock surge happened when Robert F. Kennedy Jr. became Secretary of Health. He's into alternative medicine and that might have given Regencell a boost. This Kennedy fellow sounds like he has a super mushroom up his sleeve. Maybe he can give me a 1 UP.
Dodgy Medicine and Dodgier Stocks
The whole thing is based on a " Sik Kee Au TCM Brain Theory. " Sounds very scientific doesn't it? Well here’s a bombshell: Sik Kee Au is the father of the CEO! Talk about keeping it in the family! It's a like if I put Luigi in charge of my plumbing business. Wait a minute… I already did that! And surprise surprise the CEO controls most of the shares. It's a family business alright. Very very fishy!
Social Media Shenanigans: Is this the Real Life?
People on the internet are going cuckoo! Some are excited others are skeptical. One user said it's trading like a meme coin and they lost half their investment instantly! Ouch! Another user said it’s the "stock to watch" with "no official news or catalysts." Bizzaro indeed! Me? I'm a just here to report the news not give financial advice. But remember folks: don't a go chasing every shiny coin you see! Sometimes it's just fool's gold. Wahoo!
