Now Hertz ain't been havin' the best of times. They took a serious beating during COVID filed for bankruptcy and then tried to get all futuristic by bettin' big on those electric cars especially Teslas. But uh oh those Teslas lost value faster than my street cred at the Bel Air Country Club. We're talkin' billions down the drain! It was a bigger financial fumble than when Carlton tried to rap! They ended up losing almost 3 billion dollars. Talk about a financial earthquake!

Ackman's Got a Secret Weapon?!

But hold up there's more! Turns out Ackman wasn't just drivin' Miss Daisy with his investment. He was playin' it smooth real smooth. He got the SEC that's the Securities and Exchange Commission for you non Wall Street cats to let him delay announcing his stake. This let him sneakily grab even MORE shares. Now he's the second largest shareholder sittin' pretty with almost 20% of the company. Talk about a power play! As Geoffrey would say 'Most impressive Master William.'

When the news finally broke Hertz stock went wild! We're talkin' a 56% jump! That's like Hilary suddenly deciding to rock a backwards baseball cap and bust a move. Unexpected!
