Alright family. Dom here. I've seen a lot in my life. I've raced across continents taken down cartels and even gone to space. But this… this news about expanding the travel ban… this hits different. They say Trump's looking at banning citizens from 36 more countries. Thirty six! That's a lot of families potentially getting torn apart. Remember I live my life a quarter mile at a time but you know I stand for family and family knows no borders.

Foreign Terrorists or Just… Foreign?

They're saying it's about national security protecting the U.S. from “foreign terrorists.” But come on let's be real. Fear is a powerful weapon and sometimes people use it to control others. And let's be honest saying 'foreign terrorists' is like saying you need a 10 second car to win a race; sometimes a little nitrous and good driving can do the trick. I wonder if the real danger here is that Trump is just trying to score political points during his second term – deporting Venezuelans blocking students… seems like someone's got a real need for speed... to nowhere.

Marco Rubio? State Department Gone Wild!

Apparently Secretary of State Marco Rubio is leading the charge waving around a cable with a dozen concerns about these countries. Lack of proper documents questionable passport security countries not taking back their deported citizens… I've seen better excuses for missing a shift. But that does not mean you give up on family. So I've seen better reasons to distrust someone you need trust in this world its more valuable than diamonds and its as important as family!

60 Days to Save Your Country?!

These countries have 60 days to get their act together or risk a full or partial ban. Angola Nigeria Syria Zimbabwe… the list goes on. Now I'm not saying these countries are perfect but you don't fix problems by building walls. You fix them by reaching out by offering a hand. You ever tried tuning an engine with a sledgehammer? It ain't pretty. The only way you can know someone is to know their family their friends and their past.

The Family Under Fire!

It’s not just these 36 countries either. This new ban would be on top of the already existing restrictions on countries like Afghanistan Iran Libya and Yemen. So family are we really making ourselves safer or are we just pushing people further away? Remember the most important thing in life will always be the people in this room. Salute mi familia!

Look I'm not a politician. I'm a driver a father a friend. But I know right from wrong. And tearing families apart building walls instead of bridges… that ain't right. So what do we do? We fight. We stand up for what we believe in. We remind everyone that family comes first. Because at the end of the day that's all that matters even if you're half a world away in the seat of a burning hot car. And you know what?
