Cloud is King (and Chuck Norris Approves)
Snowflake the cloud based data storage company just delivered a roundhouse kick to Wall Street's expectations. Their first quarter earnings? More impressive than my ability to stare down a cobra. And revenue? Let's just say it's growing faster than gossip in a small town. They even upped their fiscal 2026 revenue outlook. Now I don’t usually endorse companies but when I do they're disrupting the very fabric of reality. Snowflake's success proves that even the cloud fears Chuck Norris… and apparently data that’s well organized.
AI: The Ultimate Wingman
These days everyone's chasing the AI dragon. Lucky for Snowflake they're not just chasing; they're riding it bareback. Companies are prioritizing AI spending and that means shifting their workloads to the cloud. Snowflake's AI deals are bringing in customers faster than I can disarm a bomb. Which by the way is instantly.
Wall Street Takes Notice (Finally!)
Even those number crunching ninjas on Wall Street are impressed. Deutsche Bank Morgan Stanley UBS – they're all raising their price targets on Snowflake. Deutsche Bank thinks Snowflake shares could jump 25.6%. I can jump higher than that but I digress. The key takeaway? Snowflake is attracting Data Science and AI workloads like a magnet. And if you know Chuck Norris you know magnets have absolutely nothing to do with it.
Morgan Stanley's Waiting Game (Good Luck With That)
Morgan Stanley raised their price target but they're waiting for a "better entry point." Good luck with that. Waiting for Snowflake to slow down is like waiting for me to run out of roundhouse kicks. It's not going to happen. They admit the prospects are improving and margins are rising. Translation: Get on board or get out of the way.
JPMorgan Sees the Light
JPMorgan highlighted Snowflake's “robust” pace of product delivery. 125 new products in the first quarter alone! That’s a 100% year over year increase. It's a good thing I am not in the same market otherwise it would be an unequal competition. They also noted that the "AI center of gravity is increasingly shifting to the data layer.” Which translates into: Data will become the new super power and Snowflake is making that happen.
Bank of America's Neutral Stance: A Risky Bet
Bank of America is playing it safe remaining neutral. Increasing their price target sure but still neutral. They question whether new workloads will offset slowing growth. To that I say never underestimate the power of Snowflake. They're not just shifting data; they're shifting paradigms. And when that happens even Chuck Norris Tips his hat.
