Word on the street (or you know from Wells Fargo) is that Amazon and Microsoft are pumping the brakes on some new data center leases. 'Why always me?!' you ask? Because even I CR7 need a reliable cloud to stream my highlights in 4K!

AWS and Microsoft Feeling the Heat?

These big tech companies have been spending money like I score goals – relentlessly! AWS and Microsoft the top dogs in cloud infrastructure have been expanding like crazy to keep up with the AI boom. All that generative AI… it’s hungry! But now whispers of delayed deals? It’s like missing an open goal! Unacceptable!

Apparently I'm told my 'industry sources' which are better than your industry sources told Wells Fargo that AWS is pausing discussions especially on the international side. Microsoft is doing the same. They're not canceling signed deals but it's like when I'm 'rested' for a game. Disappointing but understandable... sometimes! But the positioning is similar to what we've heard recently from MSFT

Trump's Tariff Tango!

Ah politics! Even I Cristiano can’t escape it. Trump's potential tariffs are looming like a tough defender threatening to raise costs on imported equipment. It's like trying to dribble past ten players at once! These cloud companies were already planning to drop billions on Nvidia's GPUs and new data centers. This tariff thing earlier this month complicates matters. It's enough to make even a superstar like me sweat!

The Stock Market Rollercoaster

The stock market? More like a poorly maintained rollercoaster! Amazon and Microsoft stock prices are down bringing Amazon's decline for the year to 25% and Microsoft's drop to 15%. Even I have better stats than that this year and I am almost retired! Next week they report results and the numbers will determine if they can afford to have me as their commercial ambassador or not. Let's see who can afford the best!
