Captain Marvel breaks down the latest market moves, from chip surges to weight-loss drug trials, with a cosmic perspective.

Markets Soar Like Me Through Space!

Greetings Earthlings! Your friendly neighborhood Captain Marvel here reporting live from… well not space today. Turns out even superheroes gotta keep an eye on their portfolios! The markets had a good couple of days like when I single handedly took down Ronan the Accuser. The S&P 500 jumped higher than Goose trying to swallow the Tesseract. Tech and financials were the MVPs kinda like me on any given Tuesday. Chip stocks surged and banks are gearing up for some regulatory showdowns. Remember knowledge is power and with great power comes great responsibility… to diversify your investments!

Lilly's Weight Loss Potion: Hero or Zero?

Eli Lilly's new weight loss drug bimagrumab is making waves but not quite the kind that'll knock you off your feet. They're trying to preserve muscle mass while melting away the fat which is a noble goal. It's like trying to balance the universe after Thanos – tricky business! Some analysts are skeptical but others see 'compelling efficacy.' Apparently folks on the highest dose lost more fat than those who just took semaglutide (the ingredient in Wegovy). But there are concerns about tolerability and safety. Sounds like a super serum with a few… side effects. More data is needed but it's not quite ready to go 'Higher Further Faster' yet!

Muscle Preservation: The New Frontier

So this bimagrumab drug seems to be targeted at a specific demographic maybe older patients or those who don't need to lose as much weight but want to improve their body composition. Think of it as fine tuning your superhero physique rather than a full blown transformation. Bernstein analysts mentioned it might help elderly patients which is great. "Regardless there's still much to play out," the analysts wrote echoing Wolfe in saying that data from Lilly's ongoing trials for the drug will be necessary. In the meantime I'm watching Lilly's daily obesity pill orforglipron. Late stage trial data for orforglipron is expected out in the third quarter.

Wearable Tech: The Future is Now!

Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. wants every American rocking a wearable health device in the next four years. Now that's a bold vision! It's like giving everyone a miniature version of my Kree tech. This news sent shares of Abbott Laboratories soaring. They've got the FreeStyle Libre for diabetes and Lingo a CGM you can snag without a prescription. Sounds like a win win for health and… well Abbott's stock price. Just remember even with all this fancy tech a good old fashioned workout and a balanced diet are still key. No shortcuts to cosmic power folks!

Earnings and Economy: What's on the Horizon?

Keep your eyes peeled for FedEx earnings after today's close and General Mills before the bell tomorrow. Also a bunch of housing data is coming out including mortgage applications new home sales and building permits. It's enough to make your head spin faster than when I'm dodging Kree missiles! But hey that's the market for you – always something new to learn. Remember stay informed stay vigilant and don't let market volatility get you down.

Cramer's Charitable Trust: Trade Alerts!

Just a reminder that if you're a subscriber to the CNBC Investing Club you'll get trade alerts before Jim Cramer makes a move. He waits 45 minutes after sending an alert before trading and 72 hours if he's been yapping about it on TV. It's all about transparency folks! Remember this isn't financial advice and no one can guarantee profits. Even I can't predict the future just kick some serious butt when necessary. And remember folks: Stay strong stay informed and stay super!
