Savvy? It seems the winds aren't exactly filling Tesla's sails these days. Aye even a pirate like meself Captain Jack Sparrow can see the storm brewing. The landlubbers both investors and the common folk are turning their noses up at Tesla and that... eccentric Captain Elon Musk. Seems their treasure chest of goodwill is emptying faster than a bottle of rum at Tortuga! More than 47% have a negative view. Why is the rum always gone? Because it is that's why!

Musk: More Polarizing Than a Compass Pointing North and South!

That Musk fellow he's a right puzzle isn't he? Half the blighters have a sour look on their face when you mention his name while only a meager 36% are cheerin' him on. Even I Captain Jack Sparrow am more universally loved... or at least feared! And it seems his political dabbling is stirring up more trouble than a mutiny on the high seas! Democrats and Independents? They're as happy with Musk as I am with being sober. Which is to say not at all.

Electric Vehicles? Aye! Tesla? Nay!

Here's where it gets curiouser and curiouser like finding a mermaid at a tavern. People like the idea of these fancy electric carriages but they're turnin' their backs on Tesla itself! The younger ones the ones who should be all excited about such things are especially put off. 'The problem is not the problem. The problem is your attitude about the problem.' And their attitude about Tesla? Well it's grim I tell ye!

Republican Love a Double Edged Cutlass!

Now the Republicans bless their hearts they're all for Tesla. But the irony! They're not so keen on these electric contraptions in general. It's like cheerin' for the Kraken but hatin' the sea! Talk about sendin' mixed signals faster than a ship changing its flag! Sometimes the only way to stay sane is to go a little mad! Which is what I tell myself as a Republican.

Numbers Don't Lie (Unless You Bribe the Accountant)

They say there's a bit of wiggle room a margin of error but even with that the message is clear: Tesla's got a storm to weather. Not all treasure is silver and gold mate. Sometimes it's goodwill. Well as Captain Jack Sparrow I've seen more than my fair share of turbulent waters. Tesla needs to find a way to change the narrative to win back the hearts and minds of the people.
