Anthropic founded by ex OpenAI types set sail in March of '23. Only two years later they're valued at $61.5 billion! That's more than my entire plunder! And their revenue? A paltry $2 billion annually! From $1 billion in December. Eightfold increase in the number of customers spending more than $100,000! Apparently software vendors like Snowflake and Salesforce are hitching rides on Claude's digital sails. The insurers and manufacturing businesses too. 'Modernizing supply chains'? Sounds like a fancy way to say 'makin' things move faster... and probably takin' away someone's job'.

Like those other digital buccaneers ChatGPT and Gemini Claude's popularity has 'exploded'. Exploded! As if a digital cannon has fired a payload of… *shivers* …efficiency. Health care businesses are even using Claude for drug discovery! I preferred it when doctors prescribed rum but no one listens to Captain Jack Sparrow do they?
