Zig Serafin and Rupal Patel reveal the secrets to balancing big dreams with everyday tasks, turning you from a 'loser' into a 'looo-hooo-ser!' (in a good way, of course!)

Alllllrighty Then! Serafin's Secret Sauce

Greetings earthlings! Ace Ventura Pet Detective reporting live (from my bathtub naturally)! Seems this Zig Serafin fella big cheese at Qualtrics has cracked the code to success. And what is this code you ask? It's all about having your head in the clouds AND your feet on the ground. It's like trying to train a dolphin to do taxes – tricky but not impossible! As Serafin says 'You've got to be willing to pay attention to where the big picture is going... You've got to deliver. You've got to get stuff done today.' Sounds like a real 'alllllrighty then!' moment if you ask me.

Losers and Looo hooo sers! (The Good Kind)

Now Serafin's not kitten around (see what I did there?). He says if you're a boss man constantly throwing out new ideas without caring about your employees' burnt out brains or if you're a worker bee with zero ambition you ain't gonna last long. 'Good luck,' he says. And I say 'Hasta la vista losers!' But remember there's a looo hooo ser in every one of us it just depends on how you channel it! Just like a rhino giving birth to a daisy we all have the potential for greatness. (And yes that's a deep cut Ace Ventura reference for ya.)

Rupal's Rescue Remedy: From CIA to CEO

Enter Rupal Patel ex CIA agent and CEO extraordinaire! She's all about being flexible and purposeful. 'It's important to know the what but to be a little bit open and agnostic about the how and the when,' she chirps. So set your intentions but don't be afraid to wiggle like a worm on a hook when things change. Remember folks the road to success is paved with good intentions... and a whole lotta 'Holy Testicle Tuesday!'

Bite Sized Brilliance: The Personal Board Meeting

Patel's got this whacky idea called a 'personal board meeting.' Write down your goals for one five and ten years from now and then figure out what you gotta do every day to get there. It's like training a monkey to be a brain surgeon – you gotta break it down into smaller steps! 'Taking that big picture strategy and breaking it down into more bite sized elements is quite literally and metaphorically the only way to get anything done,' she yells.

The Council of Coolness: Get Some Feedback!

Both Serafin and Patel agree: Get some outside input! A boss should chat with the worker bees to get feedback on goals so everyone knows how they're helping the big picture. And snag yourself an accountability partner a friend or family member. Someone who's also striving for greatness! Surround yourself with these super minds gives you the 'push' you need to follow through on your vision and can indirectly get you out of our comfort zone he adds. 'You have to be willing to listen in ways that you may not want to,' says Serafin. 'To understand things a little differently beyond the way you [normally] do.'
