A look at the after-hours trading news, featuring Chipotle's dip, Texas Instruments' surge, and other corporate earnings that could make even Superman's head spin!

Faster Than a Speeding Burrito?

Great Rao! Even I Superman was surprised to see Chipotle stumble. It seems even the mightiest burrito can't always fly high. They missed revenue estimates and same store sales took a nosedive faster than Lois Lane falling off a building. The stock dropped 2% which is almost as disappointing as finding out there's no more salsa verde. Guess they'll have to find their own Fortress of Solitude to figure things out!

Texas Instruments: Up Up and Away!

Meanwhile Texas Instruments soared higher than I do when escaping a Kryptonite trap! A 4.8% jump after hours? That's enough to make Lex Luthor jealous. They crushed earnings and revenue expectations proving that sometimes the smartest minds can indeed conquer the market. Looks like they've got a bright future ahead of them brighter than my heat vision!

Lam Research: Forging Steel!

Lam Research supplying the world with wafer fabrication equipment for semiconductors has seemingly forged steel in the industry. Their shares have gone up about 4% as a result of a strong fiscal third quarter financial report posting adjusted earnings of $1.04 per share on revenue of $4.72 billion in revenue. Seemingly their research is not so 'lame' after all!

Knight Swift's Kryptonite?

Oh dear it seems even knights and swift things can have their weaknesses. Knight Swift Transportation saw their shares decline and management cited uncertain trade policies. They're giving a wider range for next quarter's earnings which is like saying 'I might fly to the moon or I might just stay home and watch TV.' The uncertainty is palpable – even I can sense it with my super hearing. "Truth Justice and…Cautious Guidance?" doesn't have the same ring to it.

ServiceNow: Soaring Through Workflows!

ServiceNow on the other hand is proving that workflows can indeed be super! A 9% jump? They must be using some kind of Kryptonian workflow software. They beat expectations and that's no small feat. Makes you wonder if they could help me streamline my Fortress of Solitude… less time cleaning more time saving the world!

IBM's Bizarro World!

And then there's IBM. They exceeded expectations yet their shares still fell nearly 5%. Talk about a Bizarro World scenario! It's like saving the world and then getting a parking ticket. The market can be a fickle friend even for a company as established as IBM. Maybe they need to consult with a certain caped hero for some PR advice? Just kidding! (Mostly.)
