Up Up and A Waaaaay... from This Bromance!

Greetings citizens of Earth! Your friendly neighborhood Superman here reporting on a development so strange it nearly made me use my heat vision to reheat my Fortress of Solitude leftovers. Apparently the once chummy duo of President Trump and Elon Musk are now throwing verbal kryptonite at each other. It seems their bromance which once saw Musk spending millions on Trump's re election and leading the creatively named 'Department of Government Efficiency,' aka DOGE (yes like the meme) has crashed faster than Lex Luthor's stock after one of my heroic interventions.

A Party of What Exactly?

Musk channeling his inner political strategist (or perhaps just tweeting on a whim) has formed the 'American Party.' Yes you read that right. It's like he took a page out of Lex Luthor's playbook only instead of buying up Metropolis he's buying up…well a political party. His reasoning? To give YOU back your freedom! Ironic since I do that every Tuesday! He says folks want a new party by a 'factor of 2 to 1'. As a journalist I believe in sources but I didn't know that meant 'trust me bro'.

Trump Strikes Back!

President Trump never one to back down from a Twitter er Truth Social duel has labeled Musk as going 'completely off the rails,' essentially becoming a 'TRAIN WRECK.' Strong words even for someone who regularly deals with Doomsday! He also thinks a third party is 'ridiculous' and will only lead to 'complete and total disruption and chaos.' Reminds me of that time Brainiac tried to reorganize my sock drawer.

Electric Dreams Shattered?

The feud seems to stem from disagreements over spending bills and more specifically electric vehicles. Trump claims he warned Musk about terminating the EV tax credit something that was apparently in 'every speech I made and in every conversation I had.' Musk however seemed to be on board…or at least pretended to be until it was time to actually work together. Sounds like a Lois Lane stakeout to me!

Collateral Damage: ETFs and Existential Angst

This whole political kerfuffle is causing ripples beyond Washington. James Fishback CEO of Invest Azoria is postponing the IPO of their Azoria Tesla Convexity ETF blaming Musk's new party for creating a conflict of interest. He's even urging Tesla's board to rein Musk in. Maybe they should try kryptonite? Just kidding…mostly.

Is This a Job for Superman? (Maybe Not This Time)

So what's the moral of this story? Well even billionaires can have epic falling outs and sometimes even the Man of Steel just has to sit back grab some popcorn and watch the fireworks. But one thing is certain with great power comes great responsibility... to maybe consider the consequences of your actions before starting a political party on a whim.
