Coinbase Joins the Big Leagues! Wahoo!

They're joining the S&P 500 which is like getting a star in the stock market world. S&P Global those guys who keep score said Coinbase is kicking out Discover Financial Services. Poor guys! But hey that's how the game goes eh? It's a changing of the guard just like when I gotta rescue the Princess from Bowser. But this time the Princess is profit! Wahoo!

Now this a news is bigger than a Super Mushroom! Apparently Coinbase shares did a huge jump – almost 24%! – the day after President Trump got elected. Reminds me of when I find a warp pipe and skip a whole bunch of levels! They thought Trump would be super friendly to crypto which in the past he has. But even with a Trump start things are still volatile. These tariff announcements Mamma Mia! They make the stock prices go down! It's a like dodging Bullet Bills trying to keep those coins!

Coinbase they were big supporters in the election donating a lot of coins to the PAC called Fairshake. CEO Brian Armstrong he also put some coins up. It's like when I donate coins to the Toad houses – gotta spread the love! All this a money to politicians to get crypto a good name. It's like a building a bridge to a new level.

This year has been a wild ride like one of those Bowser levels with all the traps! Shares plummeted in February and March but rebounded! Overall up 3.5% for the year which is great like when I found that hidden 1 Up. Even if they went down they are back up again just like me in world 1 1!

Bitcoin did a massive jump like a Super Mario jump to the top of the flag pole. It passed $100,000 and almost beat its old high score. Remember to get in the S&P 500 you gotta be making some coins! And Coinbase did. Net income of $65.6 million or 24 cents a share. Revenue jumped 24% to $2.03 billion! Not bad eh? Not bad at all. Good as some spaghetti I say!

But a wait there's more! Coinbase is buying Deribit a big crypto place in Dubai for almost $3 billion! That's more coins than I've ever seen! They wanna spread their reach like when I use a pipe to travel to different worlds! Mamma Mia this a crypto world is crazier than a Bowser party! I am no expert but I am sure they will find their Princess and bring her back.
