Shiver Me Timbers! Flying Contraptions are Real?

Well blow me down! It appears the world's gone mad or perhaps *I've* finally gone sane! They've got contraptions that fly without a soul at the helm! A pilotless parrot if you will. And wouldn't you know it the Chinese are the first to certify such madness for carrying people no less! This Ehang as they call it has the golden ticket. Now why didn't *I* think of that? Savvy?

Two Passengers and a Whole Lotta Buzz

These 'eVTOL' thingamajigs they say can carry two lucky souls skyward powered by nothing but sparks and lightning in a bottle! Like a hummingbird with delusions of grandeur. The plan is to whisk tourists about flitting from one scenic route to another. Makes me wonder if they'll serve rum up there. A pirate can dream can't he? After all "Why is the rum always gone?"

China's Golden Goose: The Market Share

Bank of America those landlubbers with their charts and figures predict Ehang will corner the market in China for a good while. Seems the Chinese government makes it harder than Davy Jones' Locker to get your own flying machine approved. High barriers they say. Sounds like a treasure map with too many riddles if you ask me. But hey less competition for Ehang!

A Whale of a Stock Boost

The suits and stockings reckon Ehang's stock could surge higher than a kraken erupting from the depths! They're practically swimming in doubloons already. This national policy support is the wind in their sails filling their coffers faster than I can empty a bottle of rum! Which as anyone knows is quite a feat.

Yankee Doodles Drowning in the Wake

Ah but what of those Yankee companies eh? Seems they're lagging behind like a ship with barnacles clinging to its hull. Joby Aviation is floundering while Archer Aviation is managing to stay afloat. Word has it Archer is providing air taxis for the Los Angeles Olympics. Still the Yanks are behind they've got the FAA fiddling with rules and regulations focusing on piloted flights first. Slow coaches the lot of 'em!

A Pirate's Perspective on Perilous Heights

But here's the rub me hearties. These analysts warn that a simple accident could send Ehang plummeting faster than a chest of gold tossed overboard. Nobody wants to be known as the flying coffin savvy? As for me? Well I'll stick to ships and the sea. At least there you know what to expect: storms krakens and the occasional cannibal. Flying? Too much like tempting fate and I’ve already had my fill of that.
