A Galaxy Far Far Away… or Just Greenland?

Heard some chatter on the comms about Greenland. Seems this big island way up north is suddenly the talk of the Outer Rim... I mean the world. Apparently some loudmouth named Trump wants to buy it. Buy it! Like you can just waltz in and take someone's planet. This is not the way. But what does this have to do with a Mandalorian? Mining of course. Everyone's after those shiny rocks. I've seen enough greed to last a lifetime.

Mines of Mandalore… or Greenland Whatever.

This Nathanielsen woman Greenland's Minister for Business and Mineral Resources seems to have her head screwed on right. She's not looking to turn the whole place into a strip mine. Just a 'few active mines,' she says. Smart. Dig too deep and you wake up things you don't want to wake up. I've seen it happen. Trust me. Especially when those pesky Jawas are involved. They'll scrap anything.

Rare Earths: More Valuable Than Beskar?

Apparently Greenland's sitting on a pile of 'rare earth elements.' Sounds fancy. I don't know much about rocks but I know they're important. Seems like everyone's drooling over these things because they're used to make... stuff. Sustainable energy they say. Well I’m all for sustainable but nothing beats a good blaster at your side to solve your problems. This is the way. Still if it means fewer planets getting blown up I'm listening.

Trump's Loan: A Bounty or a Trap?

This Trump character is throwing money around like a drunken Gamorrean at a cantina. Giving out loans for mining projects. First overseas investment they say. Sounds like a trap to me. Never trust a man who gives you something for nothing. There's always a catch. Remember what happened to those mining colonies on Ryloth? I do. And it wasn't pretty.

Greenland's Way: 'I Have Spoken… Respectfully'.

This Olafsson fellow CEO of some mining company says Greenland's 'an amazing country' with 'fantastic jurisdiction.' Based on Nordic principles. Sounds… civilized. But civilized doesn't always mean safe. Remember Alderaan? They seemed pretty civilized. Still good to hear they're learning from past mistakes with mining pollution. Cleanliness is next to Godliness. This is the way hopefully!

Independence: The Mandalorian Creed?

Greenland wants to be independent supported by the Nordic countries and the U.S. just like Iceland was. Good for them. Everyone deserves to chart their own course. Just remember: being independent means being responsible. It means protecting your own. It means... well you get the idea. This is the way.
