Apparently this a happened because President Trump pressed the pause button on some tariffs. Wahoo!

Tariffs on Hold! But Where's the Princess?

So the big cheese in the White House he decided to give some countries a 90 day break from getting hit with extra taxes on their stuff. But a hold on! Just like when Bowser kidnaps Princess Peach there's always a catch! This pause doesn't apply to China which is a kinda like saying 'no mushrooms for you!' China is a not happy! "It's on like Donkey Kong," they probably said.

Trump's Tariff Tantrum: 'No Respect!'

Mr. Trump he went and a cranked up the taxes on goods coming from China to 125%! He said it's because of a 'lack of respect.' Sounds like something Bowser would say after I stomp on his head. Maersk said that the original tariff plan was "significant" and that it was "not good news for the global economy stability and trade." The shipping business is getting tossed around like a Koopa shell!

Maersk Soars Like a Super Star!

Despite a all the chaos Maersk's stock went up 10%! That's a like finding a hidden 1 Up! Another shipping company Hapag Lloyd also saw their stock go up. Maybe they found some magic mushrooms too! It's a good news for them but the trade war is still a big a problem like Bowser breathing fire at my feet!
