Captain Jack Sparrow reports on SAP's surprisingly successful quarter, filled with more doubloons than expected and enough cloud to make Davy Jones jealous!

Why is the Rum Always Gone? Because SAP Drank it All!

Savvy? It appears those landlubbers at SAP have managed to plunder a treasure chest overflowing with profit! A whopping 58% jump in operating profit they say! Constant currency shmonstant currency it’s still more gold than I've seen in Bootstrap Bill's locker. They're swaggering about confirming their full year cloud revenue outlook like they found the Isla de Muerta. Blast them!

More Doubloons Than Davy Jones' Locker!

Operating profit hit 2.5 billion euros which in pirate terms is about a thousand galleons loaded to the brim. The analysts bless their cotton socks only expected 2.2 billion. Seems they underestimated the power of… whatever it is they’re actually selling. Something about clouds I think. Are they bottling clouds now? Is that why the rum is gone?

Up Like a Bottle Rocket!

The shares of the company popped 9.3%! Higher than me when I’m negotiating a parlay with the Governor! They've overtaken Novo Nordisk becoming the most valuable public company in Europe. Seems those land lovers are getting richer than the East India Trading Company. Time to start planning a… strategic partnership. Aye that’s it.

Revenue? More Like Reve NICE!

Revenue jumped 11% to 9 billion euros! Blimey! And their cloud backlog is up 29%. They're basically swimming in digital gold. Someone needs to remind them that all that glitters is not gold… sometimes it’s just very shiny like my teeth. Speaking of teeth has anyone seen my jar of dirt?

A Success Formula? More Like a Black Magic!

SAP CEO Christian Klein or as I like to call him the Commodore of Clouds says their “success formula is working.” He’s claiming their AI portfolio helps companies navigate supply chain disruptions in over 130 countries. Sounds like a load of mystical mumbo jumbo to me. Still if it works it works. Although I prefer a good map and a reliable compass. And rum. Always rum.

Steady as She Goes... for Now!

This be breaking news which means things could change faster than I can change my mind about which island to plunder next. But for now SAP is riding high. Just remember even the most valuable treasure can be lost at sea. Or you know 'misappropriated' by a clever pirate. Wink wink.
