So it turns out that companies like BP and Shell are slashing their renewable spending choosing to stick with the old dirty stuff—oil and gas. Even Shell is backing off their green plans! It's like they're powering up for a Spirit Bomb of pollution! Forrest says they're wrong because customers want green energy. He says they will buy it if these companies provided it everyday!

Forrest makes a great point! He said data centers are popping up everywhere and they want green energy! They would take dirty energy if they had to but they want green energy. It's the same as my training; I need good clean energy to keep getting stronger! But Exxon and Total are like "We're just giving the customers what they want!" Nah they aren't according to Forrest. He says these oil companies do not want to supply the green energy... so Fortescue will!

This Fortescue company is serious. They plan to stop burning fossil fuels in their Australian iron ore operations by the end of the decade! That’s faster than I can teleport with Instant Transmission! And they want other companies to do the same. It is like when I told Gohan to become a Super Saiyan! Everyone can do it! It's like Fortescue is going Super Saiyan Green and showing everyone how it's done!

Cash is King? More Like Earth is Queen!

Some expert Lindsey Stewart said that shareholders just want cash now. They're used to dividends and share buybacks so they want companies to prioritize money over saving the planet. That's as bad as Vegeta prioritizing his pride over teamwork! Another expert Espen Erlingsen said that the European oil giants are copying the American ones. So the big oil and gas companies aren't leading the way. Other power focused companies will be instead!

Real Zero or Bust! Save the Planet Like Saving the Universe!

Forrest is saying it's short term thinking to ignore climate goals. He said the climate doesn't care about quarterly earnings! And that Forrest wants real zero emissions not just 'net zero.' If you want to make a difference in 20 weeks or 20 months renewable energy is where it's at! Fortescue will save $1.2 billion a year by switching to green energy so they can create sustainable technologies to share with other businesses. We have to do whatever it takes to protect this planet like I protect the universe!
