Hey everyone Carol Danvers here reporting from… well not space this time! It seems even down here on Earth things are looking up! The Consumer Confidence Index just shot up like I do when blasting off to intercept a Kree warship. Apparently people are feeling better about their wallets and honestly after the last few months who wouldn't be? It jumped to a whopping 98.0 which is like going from zero to binary in the blink of an eye. Take that Thanos...of economic downturns!

Trump's Trade Truce: A Yon Rogg Level Maneuver?

The big reason for this jump? The potential trade deal between the U.S. and China. Apparently someone hit the 'pause' button on the tariff wars and people breathed a collective sigh of relief. Stephanie Guichard from the Conference Board said the rebound was gaining momentum *after* that little trade deal happened. It's like when Fury finally let me use my powers to their full potential – a game changer! Still doesn't beat a good shawarma though IYKYK.

Five Months of Gloom? More Like Five Months of a Skrull Invasion!

Before this we had five months of economic doom and gloom. It felt like a Skrull invasion with everyone questioning everything! But now the present situation index is up expectations are soaring faster than I can fly through an asteroid field and investors are feeling as optimistic as I am after a successful mission. Talk about a turnaround! I am not sure what is more annoying: Economic doom or a Skrull invasion...I will go with the latter...

Even the job market is looking brighter! More people are expecting more jobs to be available. I gotta say that’s a win for everyone. More jobs means more shawarma money and who doesn't want that? This makes me as happy as when Goose finally gives me a head pat! Though still not telling what kind of cat Goose is...

Republicans Feeling the Vibe: Are They Photon Powered?

The survey says everyone across the board is feeling better from young to old and from all political sides. However it seems Republicans are feeling extra good about all of this. Maybe they found a stash of Tesseract energy? Whatever it is let's hope everyone keeps feeling the good vibes. It's nice to have something positive for a change on Earth especially since I am not in space to goof off with the Guardians of the Galaxy. Miss those guys...

Higher Further Faster...and Hopefully Consistent!

So there you have it! Consumer confidence is up trade wars are (hopefully) cooling down and everyone's feeling a bit more optimistic. Let's just hope it sticks around because I'd rather be saving the galaxy than worrying about interest rates. And remember as I always say: 'Higher further faster!'
